Spain international Sergio Reguilon is expected to leave Tottenham in the January transfer window.
Reguilon finds himself warming the bench in North London after returning from loan spells at Premier League duo Manchester United and Brentford last season.
Ange Postecoglou has not given the 27-year-old a single minute of game time in any competition in this campaign and he is desperate to leave at the start of 2025.
With his contract expiring at the end of the 2024/25 season, his future is clearly away from Spurs, and January is their last chance to secure a transfer fee.
As per reports from Fichajes.net, Getafe are keen on a deal, as they look to bolster at left back with an experienced option.
The former Real Madrid and Sevilla defender could request a contract termination, to ensure his exit, with Getafe only willing to pay a reduced fee to bring him back to Madrid.
A return to Spain is rumoured to be a key objective for Reguilon and Getafe could benefit from Spurs’ willingness to offload him.
