Juan Bernat reportedly wants to leave Bayern Munich this summer due to a lack of game time.

According to Kicker, the 25-year-old has told the club of his plans and have even given their blessing to his exit.

Bernat signed for the Bundesliga giants in 2014 for €10m but has never been able to establish himself as a starter ahead of David Alaba.

The former Valencia defender is believed to be eyeing a return to La Liga in hope of fighting his way back into the Spanish national team.

Julen Lopetegui opted for Jordi Alba and Marcos Alonso for the upcoming World Cup warm-up friendlies, with Bernat now unlikely to travel to Russia.

Any team interested in the 25-year-old could sign him on a cut-price deal with less than a year remaining on his current deal.
