Spain coach hails “very strong” Armando Broja | OneFootball

Armando Broja has had a brilliant season for Southampton, stepping up to Premier League football and looking incredibly comfortable from the moment he started.

He was already playing for Albania last season when he was on loan at Vitesse, and his importance for his national team has only grown since then. He has the look of a star in the making, as Spain boss Luis Enrique noted in his press conference this week after his team came back to beat Albania 2-1.

“Broja is very strong,” Enrique said in quotes picked up by the Daily Echo.

“If you look at him at Southampton he causes problems for the best central defenders in the world.”

Broja has such a potent combination of speed and strength, as well as great ability striking the ball. That makes him a menace for defenders already. With more time and experience he will become even more clever as a forward, and can really turn himself into one of the most feared strikers in the division.

Whether that will be back at Chelsea or on loan again, we will have to wait and see.
