Spain announce squad for September break, PSG represented by one player

This Friday, Luis de la Fuente, coach of Spain, announced his list of players called up for the September break, with matches against Bulgaria (September 4) and Turkey (September 7) in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Of the 3 Spaniards at PSG, only Fabian Ruiz (29-year-old midfielder) has been called up with La Roja.

It is not surprising to see Ruiz on the list; he is a key player for both the national team and PSG. As for Carlos Soler and Marco Asensio, the other Spaniards in the Paris squad, they have not played since the season resumed and are mainly awaiting their departure.
