The City manager will be providing his thoughts ahead of the game at his latest pre-match press conference on Friday, May 9 with Pep set to address the media from 13.30pm (UK).

Previous meeting

City secured a 1-0 victory over the Saints when the sides last met at the Etihad back in October of last year.

A fifth minute goal from Erling Haaland proved enough to overcome a stubborn visitors’ defence and so seal the three points for Pep Guardiola’s side.

Last time out

City made it five wins in a row in all competitions thanks to a battling 1-0 home win over a resurgent Wolves on Friday, May 2.

A 35th minute effort from Kevin De Bruyne ensured victory over the men from Molineux and so further boost City’s push for a Champions League place next season.
