Southampton will be hoping to book their place in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup tomorrow by defeating Grimsby Town at St Mary’s Stadium.
The Saints set up a showdown with their League Two opponents by securing a 2-1 win over Blackpool last month.
Grimsby meanwhile caused an upset in their meeting with Luton Town.
Having opted to hand over the reins to Ruben Selles following Nathan Jones’ unsuccessful stint, it will be interesting to see whether Southampton will be able to achieve a relative amount of success between now and the end of the season.
While the Saints’ main priority in the coming months will be to retain their Premier League status, they will be eyeing a trip to Wembley Stadium if they beat Grimsby.
Ahead of this game, we have decided to take a look at the Southampton players who will not be available for selection…
Tino Livramento
serious knee injury that he sustained during the closing stages of the previous campaign.
Before picking up this issue, Livramento featured on 28 occasions for the Saints in the Premier League while he also represented the club in the FA Cup and the League Cup.
Juan Larios
While Juan Larios is making progress in terms of his road to recovery from injury, he only returned to training last week and was not included in Southampton’s squad for their meeting with Leeds United.
Earlier this season, Larios made five appearances for the Saints in the Premier League.
The defender will be hoping to play a key role in the club’s fight for survival at this level when he is available for selection again.
Jan Bednarek
Jan Bednarek will be unavailable for selection tomorrow as he has featured for Aston Villa in this competition earlier this year.
Before returning to St Mary’s, the defender was utilised by Villa in their shock defeat to Stevenage.
Bednarek will make his return to action when the Saints take on Leicester City on Saturday.

James Bree
James Bree is also ineligible for this game as he has represented Luton Town in the FA Cup this season.
The defender started for the Hatters against Wigan in the third round and thus will be forced to watch on from the sidelines on Wednesday.
Since making the switch to Southampton, Bree has made three appearances for the club in all competitions.
