Southampton Star’s Agent Heads To England For Saints Talks | OneFootball

Southampton will soon have talks with one of their star’s agents as he is travelling to England to discuss his client’s future.

Saints have spent money in the transfer market this summer, but the pressure is on for more additions ahead of the closure of the window at the end of the month.

Selling players would likely boost the kitty for Russell Martin and defender Armel Bella-Kotchap is in line to join German side Hoffenheim.

Southampton could also cash in on Paul Onuachu, but talks with the club that the striker wants to join, Trabzonspor, have dragged on and resulted in no agreement.

Now, according to Turkish outlet Sports Digitale, Onuachu’s agent is flying to England to speak to Southampton.

Onuachu has already conveyed his desire to return to Turkey after a productive spell at Trabzonspor.

Over the course of his loan spell last season, Onuachu found the back of the net 17 times in 26 matches.

Trabzonspor have been willing to offer €7m for Onuachu, but that is at least €3m short of the sum Southampton are claimed to want.

The agent will speak to Saints and to his client, to plot the best way forward over the coming weeks.
