Che Adams scored his first goal for Scotland in a 4-0 rout of Faroe Islands on Wednesday.

Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn opened the scoring for the hosts after just 8 minutes when he converted Kieran Tierney's cut-back.

McGinn grabbed his second shortly after the break, connecting once again with Arsenal left-back Tierney.

Southampton striker Adams, playing his third game for Scotland, made it 3-0 after a lovely move allowed him to finish at the near post.

Newcastle winger Ryan Fraser then rounded out the victory with his second goal in as many games.

Steve Clarke's side are now second in Group F after three games, four points behind leaders Denmark and one ahead of third-placed Israel.
