Southampton have confirmed the arrival of Aston Villa striker Cameron Archer in a deal reportedly worth an initial £15m.
The striker had joined Sheffield United last summer in a £18.5m move but Villa were obligated to buy him back after the Bramall Lane side were relegated, and he has featured for Unai Emery's side in pre-season.
But he was always likely to leave Villa Park this summer and it is Southampton that have coughed up for the 22-year-old, splashing out to bring the talent to St Marys.
Archer has penned a four-year deal with the Saints, and will likely head into the new season as their starting striker following the departure of Ché Adams over the summer.
