Southampton midfielder Peplow signs new two-year deal | OneFootball

Southampton midfielder Chloe Peplow has signed a new two-year contract with the club.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Saints this afternoon.

Peplow is in her second spell with Southampton. She initially joined the club on a loan deal from former top tier side Reading in 2022/2023 before returning to St Mary’s Stadium on a permanent basis at the end of that season. Peplow has gone on to make 37 appearances for Southampton in all competitions, scoring one goal.

The player has bags of elite game experience under her belt and Southampton will lean on her know-how again over the next two years.

After signing on again with Southampton, Peplow said “I do feel settled here, it feels like a home away from home. It’s a great city and a great fanbase, so I’m excited to get going.

“I think the club does have ambition, I think facilities-wise we have got a good backing here in a sense of there’s good foundations.

“Personally, I think I’m in the best position I have been for a while, obviously the first season I joined I had some injuries but last year I put those behind me and managed to get a consistent run of games and performances – for me it’s onwards and upwards in that sense.”

Peplow will now focus on trying to help Southampton enjoy a much-improved campaign in 2025/2026.
