Southampton FC Women sign striker Katie Wilkinson

Southampton FC Women have signed Katie Wilkinson, twice Championship Player of the Season and Golden Boot winner.

The 27-year-old joins from Coventry United and has also had spells at Birmingham City, Aston Villa, London Bees and Sheffield United, netting 33 goals in 34 appearances for the Blades.

Wilkinson told southamptonfc.com: “I’m really excited. A few of the girls have shown me around and it’s an amazing environment to be in.

“Now I’m just really grateful and excited that I’m a part of it. I hope that I can now be a part of the growth too.”
