Kraft played in Germany and gained caps at U-15 and U-16 levels, before committing to Ireland and netting four goals on her debut for the U-17s.

Her first senior appearance came in January 2019 against Belgium, joining Lewes last summer and scoring three times in 15 games.

Kraft told southamptonfc.com: “I’m buzzing to be here! “It’s a really good club and I’m so happy to take my next steps here.

“With all the ambitions and what they strive for, I just think it’s a really good club and that we can have a lot of success this season!”

Head Coach Marieanne Spacey-Cale commented: “Emily caused us problems last year, playing for Lewes.

“She’s a great central striker but can play along the line as well.

“We’re excited with her coming in – a different type of player – who’s committed to helping make us successful next season.”
