Southampton are edging closer to signing Brest full back Romain Perraud, but their quest is not without complications.
Perraud, who would replace Ryan Bertrand for Southampton, is available for around £8.5 million.

Despite the interest of an unknown team in the defender, the Daily Express claims Southampton are very close to sealing the transfer.
Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl will be hoping Perraud is the first of many first team signings this summer, as the club attempts to improve on last season's 15th place finish.
