Saints come from behind to beat Chelsea

Scorers: Lavia 28, Armstrong 45+1ā€²; Sterling 23ā€².

Southampton came from behind to inflict a second defeat of the season on Chelsea as Thomas Tuchelā€™s side struggled at St.Maryā€™s.

Raheem Sterling had given the visitors the lead midway through the first half, slotting into the bottom corner past Gavin Bazanu with two Saints defenders left on the block after blocking his original effort in the box.

However, RomĆ©o Lavia pulled his team level with his first goal for the club ā€“ and it was some way to get off the mark.

The 18-year-old struck a powerful drive from the edge of the box past Edouard Mendy after a corner had been cleared into his path.

The turnaround was complete in first-half stoppage time when Adam Armstrong tucked into the far corner from 12 yards out after being picked out by Romain Perraudā€™s cut-back.

Itā€™s a second defeat in five games for the Blues who see Southampton jump above them into seventh place.

Sinisterra off the mark as Leeds pull Everton back

Scorers: Sinisterra 55ā€²; Gordon 18ā€².

Leeds and Everton shared the spoils after a feisty encounter at Elland Road.

The visitors stormed ahead after 18 minutes when Anthony Gordon got on to the end of Alex Iwobiā€™s pass and slid the ball past Illan Meslier from inside the box.

Leeds were then dealt another blow when top goalscorer Rodrigo had to be replaced after picking up a shoulder injury in a collision with Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.

But summer signing Luis Sinisterra salvaged a point for the hosts with his first league goal, coming inside on to his left foot and lashing a low shot into the bottom corner from 25 yards out.

The Toffees might feel they should have had a winner midway through the second half when Demarai Gray saw his effort ruled out for the tightest of offsides.

Mitrović scores again as Fulham beat Brighton

Scorers: Mitrović 48ā€², Dunk (OG) 55ā€²; Mac Allister (PEN) 60ā€².

Fulham are up to fifth in the table after beating Brighton and Hove Albion.

Aleksandar Mitrović kept up his stunning start to the season, popping ups at the back post to slid in Neeskens Kebanoā€™s low ball across goal.

The Cotttagers then sprung an incisive counter-attack to double their lead. Mitrović winning the ball at the edge of his own box from a Brighton corner before the ball ended up down the other end with Lewis Dunk turning Andreas Pereiraā€™s cross into his own net.

The Seagulls did pull one back from the penalty spot after Pervis EstupiƱƔn had been fouled with Alexis Mac All-star dispatching from the spot.

Wissa grabs late point for Brentford

Scorers: Zaha 59ā€², Wissa 88ā€².

Yoane Wissaā€™s 88th-minute equaliser snatched a point for Brentford at Selhurst Park.

Wilfried Zaha broke the deadlock with a stunning strike, curling into the top corner from the edge of the box after cutting inside on to his right foot.

And that looked like it was going to be enough to give the Eagles their second win of the season until supersub Wissa earned the draw for the visitors.

Vitaly Janeltā€™s dinked ball into the box landed on to the head of the striker who nodded past Vicente Guaita to restore parity.
