According to the Spanish outlet El Crack Deportivo, Rosario Central is reportedly interested in securing a loan deal for the young and talented Tottenham Hotspur striker, Alejo Veliz, despite his recent arrival at the club this summer.
Despite not having started a single Premier League game for Tottenham, Veliz has only managed to accumulate a mere 17 minutes of playing time in the league. He has made a total of six appearances in the Premier League, all as a substitute, highlighting his eagerness for more substantial playing time.
Veliz harbours aspirations of securing a consistent place within the Tottenham squad and aims to establish himself as a regular starter for the Argentina national team. His goal is not to leave permanently but to seek more playing time, making a loan move a potential solution that could benefit all parties involved at this moment.
It’s intriguing to note that Ange Postecoglou, who initially mentioned delaying Alejo Veliz’s integration into the first team until later in the season, ended up accelerating his progress. While injuries played a role, Veliz’s performances on the field undoubtedly merit recognition.
However, despite his progress, if he aims to reach the level of Suarez, there’s still significant ground to cover. Hopefully, he can make strides soon, avoiding a situation where his prime years are spent on the sidelines akin to a Uruguayan. Valued highly by Spurs, Veliz is regarded as a rising star. Whether he’ll reach the calibre of Uruguay’s renowned striker Suarez remains uncertain.

Nevertheless, we possess an exceptional player within our ranks, and we eagerly await his growth into a potential future superstar for the club.
Additionally, a loan move might offer him increased game time and aid in his adaptation to the starting XI.
