South Africa may have tasted defeat to Spain on Saturday but they had a moment of history to cherish all the same.
Thembi Kgatlana netted Banyana Banyana’s first ever goal at a Women’s World Cup and it was brilliant.
The genius looped finish gave the underdogs the lead, though Spain came back to win 3-1 after two second-half penalties.
