A host of sides are keen on signing Tom Lawrence from Derby County as the Rams face relegation from the Sky Bet Championship this season, Football League World understands.

Derby have shown fight this year but the task in front of them is gargantuan and results like the one at the weekend away at Bristol City will hardly help their cause.

Indeed, it certainly looks quite possible they’ll be heading down this year and, of course, that could lead itself to a number of players leaving the club sooner rather than later.

Among them could be Tom Lawrence, too, with a number of sides in both the Premier League and Championship taking a look at him.

Watford, West Bromwich Albion, Norwich City and Burnley are all keen on him, Football League World has been told, and so a battle for his signature may well be on the horizon.

Lawrence has been in good form of late with goals against Bournemouth and Queens Park Rangers recently being registered, so it’s clear he’s doing all he can to help the Rams in their predicament.

Eventually, though, it could be the case that he leaves Pride Park, with a growing list of potential suitors forming.
