Norwich City striker Teemu Pukki is considering his future at Carrow Road and has plenty of interest, including from the MLS, with his current contract set to expire in the summer, sources have exclusively informed Football League World.

The 32-year-old has become a talismanic figure for the Championship club since his arrival in 2018 – twice firing them to Premier League promotion and reaching double figures in both of his seasons in the top flight.

Pukki has been a central figure for the Canaries once again in 2022/23, scoring four goals and providing three assists to help Dean Smith side to climb to second in the division after 12 games, but he is in the final 12 months of his contract.

Norwich triggered the one-year extension in his contract in the summer but his future beyond the end of the current campaign is in doubt.

FLW understands that the Finland international is now considering his future at Carrow Road amid plenty of interest from elsewhere, including from the MLS.

Norwich are willing to open talks over with the striker, who is fifth in the club’s list of all-time scorers with 82 goals in 180 appearances, over a contract extension.

Pukki was linked with a move away from the Canaries over the summer but he has since revealed that none of the sides interested made an acceptable bid.
