Manchester City’s summer window is set to burst into life with a number of significant updates emerging over the last 48 hours both in the way of arrivals and exits.

There has been plenty of discussion over several midfield targets for the Premier League champions this summer, but City Xtra can now reveal that one name is certainly not on the radar as imminently indicated by one source over the weekend.

Reports over a number of potentially major departures from the Manchester City first-team squad also ignited in recent days, with updates over the future of Ederson likely to be most monitored by supporters.

Here is every single update you need to know about concerning Manchester City following days 31 and 32 of the ongoing summer transfer window.

Arrivals

City Xtra understands that there is nothing in the latest reports from Gianluca Di Marzio around Manchester City and Dani Olmo.

Fabrizio Romano: “Manchester City are not negotiating for Dani Olmo. Manchester City have appreciated Dani Olmo for years, already last summer, two years ago, always showing appreciation for Dani Olmo. But they are not negotiating for Dani Olmo, he is not part of the shortlist in this moment of the market. It’s still July, but Man City today are not negotiating or Dani Olmo, are not in the market for Dani Olmo…” (YouTube)

Departures

Manchester City will talk to Julián Álvarez‘s camp to discuss his situation after Copa América. The striker wants to play more, however City have never wanted to sell or even communicate a price. PSG are among the clubs interested. (Fabrizio Romano, X)

Norwich City are among a host of clubs interested in Callum Doyle, who could leave Manchester City on a temporary basis again. (Nick Mashiter, Simon Stone – BBC Sport)

Al Nassr’s initial proposal to Manchester City for Ederson is worth a €30 million package. City will NOT accept and want more than €50 million to allow the goalkeeper to leave. Ederson has already agreed to a Saudi Pro League move. (Fabrizio Romano, X)

Fabrizio Romano: “Man City will not let the player leave for less than 50, 60 million euros. This is what Manchester City want for Ederson. Negotiations are ongoing, the player is keen on the move to Saudi, but still no agreement between clubs for Ederson…” (YouTube)

Borussia Dortmund have reached an agreement in principle with Yan Couto. However, the sticking point could be a transfer fee, with Manchester City ‘currently demanding too much’ and a deal will be ‘difficult’. (Patrick Berger, X)

Tigre have agreed to the purchase of Darío Sarmiento, purchasing 50 per cent of the transfer from Manchester City and signing the player to a three-year contract. (Cesar Luis Merlo, X)

Atlético Madrid are now advancing for Julián Álvarez, and there are already negotiations. The striker is willing to leave Manchester City as he wants a greater role. (Cesar Luis Merlo, X)
