Deportivo La Coruna could be forced into selling their exciting Spaniard, Yeremay Hernandez, if Chelsea’s most recent offer is accepted.
Sources with knowledge of the Blues transfer plans this winter understand that the West London outfit have made an opening bid of £8.5m to Deportivo La Coruna for the 22-year-old.
It’s clear that this transfer window could become a busy time for the Blues, with the revolving door at Stamford Bridge once again fully operational.

Deportivo are understood to have dismissed Chelsea’s initial offer as they want closer to the player’s €20m release clause before they come to the negotiating table.
They also face competition from Premier League rivals Arsenal and Aston Villa, with sources indicating that Serie A sides AC Milan, Como and Napoli will throw that hat into the ring before the closure of the window.
Hernandez has a contract with Deportivo until 2030 so the Galician outfit have no real need to sell at this point.
His performances continue to attract attention, however, and the club may find it difficult to hold onto the player.
Sources understand that both Arsenal and Aston Villa sent scouts to watch the matches against CD Mirandes and Malaga, and were hugely impressed by what they saw.
Reports were therefore favourable, albeit those clubs will also need to move quickly if they want to land the player.
From Chelsea’s point of view, they want to add Hernandez to their squad this winter and then immediately loan him to Strasbourg for the remainder of the season.
With less than two weeks left until the window closes, an acceptable deal needs to be executed quickly.
