Chelsea’s January transfer plans are beginning to shape up now and it looks like there is a good chance that we might see at least two more new arrivals to Stamford Bridge.

Blues boss Mauricio Pochettino has publicly called for more new transfer in the winter window as we approach the opening of the next phase of transfer business.

Chelsea have already signed a host of new players in the last three transfer windows, spending almost £1billion on new faces. But the expectation is that more arrive next month, as well as a handful more departures from the club.

A centre-back in one area that the club are looking to improve in, and Pochettino ideally wants to add some Premier League proven players to his squad.

And according to journalist Simon Phillips on his latest Podcast for SPTC, Chelsea have added Crystal Palace centre back Joachim Andersen, and Bournemouth centre back Lloyd Kelly, to their shortlist of potential new defenders they are looking at alongside Marc Guehi, also of Palace, and Max Kilman of Wolves. He states that these will not be the only names they are looking at though.
