Bradford City are set to sign Dion Pereira from Luton Town, sources have indicated to Football League World.

Mark Hughes has been busy this morning, with Tyreik Wright arriving in West Yorkshire from Aston Villa, bolstering Bradford’s options in the final third.

It’s Football League World’s understanding that Pereira is set to be another deadline day arrival for the Bantams, signing on loan from Championship outfit Luton.

The 23-year-old will first sign a new contract at Kenilworth Road, before agreeing terms on a temporary move to the League Two outfit.

Pereira is no stranger to Bradford either, having made 10 appearances in League Two for them earlier in 2022, scoring once and assisting another.

The former Watford and Atalanta midfielder has so far failed to make a lasting impression on the first team at Luton, with a loan at Yeovil coming before his move to Bradford last season.

Pereira was an unused substitute in Luton’s draw with Birmingham City on the opening weekend of the EFL season, whilst he registered an assist in the EFL Cup defeat to Newport County as well.
