Roma concluded their series of friendlies on Italian soil with a 1-1 draw with Olympiakos in Rieti.
De Rossi’s men stepped on the pitch today for the first time with the likes of Pellegrini, Cristante and Mancini back in the line-up.
Moreover, this marked Soulé’s first appearance for Roma since his signing earlier in the week.
The Argentine showed excellent things in his limited minutes, creating two perfect chances for his teammates to score.
From the initial 4-3-3 of the first half with Dybala on the pitch in the second half, De Rossi selected the 4-2-3-1 with Dovbyk making his debut up front, Joya as a classic number 10 and Soulè-El Shaarawy on the wings.
Despite a more attacking line-up, the Giallorossi struggled to make a difference in the second half.
However, Enzo Le Fée and Buba Sangaré also showed promising things, providing the team with good passing and several key interceptions.
