Roma attacker Matias Soulé was on the scoresheet for the first time since joining the Giallorossi this summer.
After today’s defeat to Hellas Verona, the Argentine spoke to the club’s official channels.
“We are obviously disappointed, I think we deserved more,” he said.
“We cannot lower our heads, we have to get up because we are responsible. We have to reverse the situation as soon as possible.”
“I am happy about the goal but not with the way the game went,” he added.
“Verona’s second goal? I told the referee, Evan had been on the ground for 5 minutes… the referee said that there was a touch, but first Magnani took the ball and only then hit Evan.”
“Now, reviewing the images, it is clear that first he took it and then hit the ball. Then, there was Kastanos to block Svilar’s exit. We are responsible, but these incidents are against us.”
“The goal should have been disallowed.”
