The coach evaluated his side's output in the Salernitana game

Coach Andrea Sottil was interviewed following his side’s 1-1 draw against Salernitana. Here’s some of what he had to say:

“I’m sorry for the lads. It’s been a tough week and we were aiming on putting in a good performance, and that’s what we did.

“We were aggressive and created so many goalscoring opportunities. It’s a shame that we conceded. Salernitana really went for us and we should’ve kept our heads. However all in all I’m happy with the lads.

“We responded well after the Juventus game. We won so many balls in their half and had lots of shots on goal, forcing their keeper into some top saves. This is the attitude I wanted from us.

“Lorenzo Lucca deserves some credit. He played really well, stretching play, nearly scored and provided an assist. I’m not sure what will happen with Beto, but if he leaves I’m sure that the club will bring in a replacement.”
