Son Heung-min insists Tottenham 'do not care' about other teams

Son Heung-min insists Tottenham are only focusing on themselves – not on Manchester City and Liverpool.

Spurs are within two points of second after their 6-2 demolition of Everton and are slowly putting together a title challenge.

However, the South Korean has called for caution and believes taking things slowly will benefit them longer term.

“We don’t care about the other teams,” he told Sky Sports. “We just focus on ourselves and take it game by game.

“We deserved the win against Everton so I’m really happy. We dominated the game from the start.

“We were unlucky to be 1-0 down, but showed our character, our mentality and to score six goals here, we leave happy.”

Mauricio Pochettino’s men are staying close to home over Christmas, hosting Bournemouth on Boxing Day and Wolves on December 29.
