Tottenham Hotspur entertained Crystal Palace at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure all three points at home in the Premier League. Spurs made a good start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
Eberechi Eze gave the visitors a surprise lead in the 59th minute which was cancelled out by Timo Werner’s effort in the 77th minute. Cristian Romero put Tottenham ahead just three minutes later before Heung-min Son put the contest to bed in the 88th minute. The match finished with Angelos Postecoglu’s men earning an impressive 3-1 win in front of their home supporters.

Vicario didn’t gave a save to make in the game but failed to secure a clean sheet today.
RB: Emerson Royal – 7/10
He performed his defensive duties but offered very little in the opponent’s half.
CB: Cristian Romero – 8/10
Romero didn’t do much wrong at the back and managed to get his name on the scoresheet in the 80th minute.
CB: Micky van de Ven – 7/10
He was a solid presence on the defensive end of the pitch and made a couple of impressive runs with the ball.

LB: Destiny Udogie – 6.5/10
He made two crucial clearances at the back and engineered one decent chance going forward.
CM: Yves Bissouma – 7/10
Bissouma anchored the midfield well but struggled to influence the game in the opponent’s half.
CM: Rodrigo Bentancur – 6/10
He was accurate with his ball distribution but struggled to make things happen in the final third. Bentancur was replaced after the hour mark.
RW: Dejan Kulusevski – 7/10
Kulusevski was a positive influence at both ends of the field but there was no goal for him today.
CAM: James Maddison – 7.5/10
He caused a lot of chaos inside the Palace half and ended the game with an assist to his name.
LW: Timo Werner – 8/10
Werner was a constant menace in the final third and was responsible for scoring the all-important equaliser for Spurs in the 77th minute.
ST: Heung-min Son – 8/10
Son caused all sorts of problems for his marker and managed to kill the game off in the 88th minute.
