Some inside West Ham United are ‘not sure’ about moving to land an attacker they have been linked with wanting to bring in, according to the Guardian.

Signing a centre forward is a top priority for West Ham in the ongoing window and with less than a week left, the Hammers are desperate to bring in one.

West Ham are interested in Brighton’s Evan Ferguson, RB Leipzig’s Andre Silva and the newest addition to their list is PSV Eindhoven’s Ricardo Pepi.

The USA international is having an incredible season for PSV, with eleven goals in 18 league games making him stand out to suitors.

West Ham are claimed to have recently submitted a bid to sign Pepi, but PSV swiftly rejected their offer.

The Hammers are expected to go back to PSV with a new offer, but some people inside the club are unsure regarding a move for him.

Some inside the club are less than convinced that they should be looking to sign the American.

West Ham are expected to submit a second offer in the region of €35m for the 22-year-old.

Now it remains to be seen with the uncertain atmosphere regarding the player at the east London club whether West Ham will further pursue the deal in the coming days.
