Kick-off between Manchester United and Leicester is just moments away and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has welcomed two important players back to his side, having been without them for different reasons.

Marcus Rashford has been missing for the entirety of the campaign after undergoing shoulder surgery over the summer. The 23-year-old managed the problem throughout the majority of last season but could now make his first appearance of the season after being named on the bench against Leicester.

“He’s had a long, long time out of the game and now he’s ready to contribute. He’s looked really sharp and, of course, it’s been a long time since he played a game. So we’re going to gently give him more minutes,” Solskjaer said on Rashford, according to the official Manchester United website.

Harry Maguire was substituted in the 1-0 loss to Aston Villa three weeks ago and has played no part since then. His spell on the sidelines has been ended, however, as he was named in the starting line-up against his former side at the King Power Stadium.

“Of course, it’s great for us to have him back as Harry is a big player for us. He came through the session alright and had no reaction to it. He’s done lots of work with the physios and a load of rehab work. There’s no reaction so he’s ready.”

Solskjaer will be delighted to have his English duo back in the side, with the pair both playing the majority of games last season. Victory for United would see the Reds get back to winning ways, having failed to win their last two Premier League games.
