According to Sky Sports, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has praised the mental and physical prowess of his players.

The Red Devils came back to win against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Wednesday night. It was United’s eighth win by a solitary goal in the Premier League this season.

Fulham to their credit put up a good account of themselves. The fact United were able to see them off is a testament to our development from last season.

The win was United’s 17th straight game in the league without a loss. It equalled the record set by Sir Alex Ferguson’s treble winners in 1999.

United now hold a two-point lead over Manchester City at the top. The Citizens have however played a game less.

It is a testament of championship-winning teams to eke out the required results. While there is still some way to go, United have shown they have the bottle to do just that.
