Tottenham Hotspur star Gareth Bale made his first assists since returning to the club on loan earlier this summer.
The Welshman endured a promising but an underwhelming second debut against West Ham United at the weekend. However, his first start proved to be much more productive.
Bale still appeared to be rusty and is not completely fit yet. He did go on to make a number of telling passes and impressed with his movement.
It was from one such cross that he forced Andres Andrade to put through his own net. The goal gave us a cushion to hold on to what was a comfortable win.
He lasted just over an hour before he was taken off. The prospect of a fully fit Bale working alongside Son Heung-Min and Harry Kane would be a nightmare for defences. Hopefully, this is just the start.
We take a look at how fans reacted to the performance.
