Ola Solbakken is ready to embrace another adventure – this time in Japan where Urawa Red Diamonds awaits his arrival.

After a disappointing spell at Olympiakos, the ex-Bodo/Glimt man will join Urawa on a dry loan from Roma until the end of the season.

According to Il Tempo, Olympiakos will pay Roma €750,000 for the early termination of Solbakken’s loan: the initial agreement involved a €1.5 million fee to be paid upon the completion of his spell.

The capital club received offers also from Sweden, Norway and the United States for Solbakken, but Roma chose to send him to the Far East to have him available for the summer training camp.
