Theo Hernandez’s season just keeps going from bad to worse and beyond, and the Champions League is only the latest example of this, and his time at AC Milan may be heading to an end as a result.

Across the board this season, Milan have been poor. However, the blame has often fallen on the stars. Whether it be Theo Hernandez or Rafael Leao, there have been several occasions where the key players have fallen below the level expected.

Fortunately, Leao has started to rebuild a little, but the Frenchman’s path just seems to be heading towards a previously unimaginable situation. The latest reports suggest that the Feyenoord game has been the last nail in the coffin of his Rossoneri career.

Despite Sergio Conceicao trying to shield the player a little, the press and fans have been vocal in their shock at the defender, and Calciomercato.com has relayed the words of Zvonimir Boban, who had a lot to say, despite being left ‘speechless’.

“How do you do it? Marciniak is too good a referee, who understands everything. Theo has been simulating for years, so he will learn not to do it again. But what is this? What’s the point, go for the goal.

“With VAR you can see everything. Two absurd admonitions, he was irresponsible and lacked concentration: it’s something that you don’t even do in a match between bachelors and wives.

“You have to go to the root of the problem. Then in Zagreb, Dinamo, my Dinamo cannot compete with Milan. So many games thrown away, so many wrong choices by the club and the players. The time has come to draw conclusions. We’ve never experienced a Milan season this year.”
