Emile Smith Rowe's second Premier League goal in as many games has helped Arsenal clinch a 1-0 victory over Chelsea.

The Gunners now have two wins on the trot as they keep alive their faint hopes of qualifying for Europe next season.

The game's only goal came in the first-half courtesy of a terrible mistake from Chelsea midfielder Jorginho, who misjudged a back-pass to Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Kepa managed to claw the ball off the line, only for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to set-up Smith Rowe to blast home.

From then on, it was Chelsea who dominated proceedings as Mason Mount twice went close to equalising.

Christian Pulisic thought he'd tied the scores on the hour but his strike was ruled out by VAR for offside.

Thomas Tuchel's side then hit the bar twice in 10 seconds as time ran out.

Chelsea remain fourth on 64 points, six ahead of West Ham and seven ahead of Liverpool, who have two games in hand on Thomas Tuchel's side.

Mikel Arteta and Arsenal are now one point behind seventh-placed Tottenham, although Spurs have a game in hand.
