Middlesbrough will aim to get back to winning ways this weekend as they host Peterborough United.
Boro have endured a tough run of form of late, with the pressure building on manager Neil Warnock after suffering four defeats from six.
Last time out, Boro lost 2-0 to the Tigers thanks to a Joe Lumley own-goal and Mallik Wilks strike, with a win much-needed this weekend.
Peterborough, meanwhile, have endured a tough start to life back in the Championship, and currently sit 23rd in the league table.
Posh have won two of their first 11 games, losing seven times and drawing twice, and lost 3-2 at home to Bristol City last time out.
It is a big game for both managers, and Sky Sports’ David Prutton has offered his prediction on the game.
He said: “This is a big game for both sides. The locals are getting a little restless at Middlesbrough as they clearly feel they should be getting better results than they have so far this season.
“Peterborough are second bottom, and are missing key players heading to the Riverside. It has been a tough return to the Championship thus far, and I can see them getting edged out on Saturday.”
The Verdict
I can see Boro getting a win here.
Peterborough were bold in their recruitment during the summer, bringing in players who have thrived in League One and below but not in the Championship.
But Boro, I feel have more quality than Posh. I think they will nick a win here.
