Roma do not intend to part ways with Paulo Dybala after all and aim to extend his stay in the capital.
The Argentine forward has been subject of much speculation lately regarding his place in the Giallorossi squad.
With the lack of Champions League football, rumors arose linking Dybala with an exit from Roma.
The player was linked to such clubs as Atletico Madrid and Chelsea given the release clause in his contract which is valid until the end of July.
However, the rumors seem to be unfounded.
The Friedkins have decided to keep Dybala at all costs.
According to the latest report by Sky Sport, Roma do not wish to part ways with Dybala and have included him in the list of ‘untouchable’ players ahead of the summer window. The player met with the owners and De Rossi and agreed to continue playing for Roma.
The Giallorossi will focus on getting rid of players who are set to conclude their respective loans as well as players who are not compatible with Daniele De Rossi’s plans.
Dybala is reportedly guaranteed to stay as Roma will do everything to satisfy the player.
The capital club’s positive balance sheets will enable Roma to increase Dybala’s salary up to €8 million net per season.
The intention is to continue together until the expiry of Dybala’s contract in 2025.
