Sky Sport Italia’s Napoli expert Massimo Ugolini reports that Napoli are still far from reaching an agreement for Alejandro Garnacho, while Federico Chiesa could be a ‘last-minute’ solution to replace Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Napoli are in talks with PSG for Kvaratskhelia’s transfer and are naturally looking for a replacement for the talented Georgian star.
Sportitalia reported on Monday that the Partenopei had made an opening bid for Manchester United winger Garnacho.
Sky Sport Italia provided more updates on Monday evening, confirming that the Red Devils’ asking price for the Argentinean talent exceeds €60m.

“Manchester United are unwilling to sell Garnacho, unless Napoli pay €60-70m, a fee the Partenopei won’t match,” Napoli expert Massimo Ugolini said live on Monday evening.
“Napoli could consider a loan deal with an option to buy, but negotiations are not at an advanced stage. A last-minute deal for Chiesa could be a solution, but it’s not certain.”
Footmercato reported earlier this month that the Partenopei were close to reaching an agreement to sign Chiesa on a six-month deal from Liverpool.
Chiesa scored his first Liverpool goal on Saturday, but Arne Slot suggested that the Italian won’t necessarily be given more playing time in the second part of the campaign.
