Chelsea have been blessed with some top talent within their ranks over the years, and many of them have been produced within the Cobham youth academy.

There are some players who have come through and really shone in the last couple of seasons, none more so than Reece James.

He’s been consistently great and improving game by game. He is a regular now in the England squad as well and as the season draws to an end, talk starts to draw towards to World Cup in the winter and who will be England’s main right-back.

Gary Neville believes James could be the best out of them all if he can stay fit, as reported by The Chelsea Chronicle.

Neville and Jamie Carragher were speaking about it on Monday Night Football on Sky Sports this week and they were comparing James to Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kyle Walker, who he will be competing with for a spot.

“I think Reece James could be the best out of them all,” said Neville. “I have concerns over his fitness and I would want to make sure he kept fit for a season or two, but he could be the best out of all of them if he continues to go forward.”

“He could be a mix of Kyle Walker and Trent,” Jamie Carragher added. “He’s a great crosser of the ball, Reece James.”
