After the training session this morning, and Stefano Pioli’s press conference shortly after, the probable Milan XI for tomorrow’s clash has changed several times. It seems, however, the latest reports are to be believed.
Initially, it seemed the manager would be able to welcome back both Ismael Bennacer and Hakan Calhanoglu from the first minute. That won’t be the case, though, as the former is suffering from fever and the latter isn’t quite ready yet.
As a result, the starting eleven will be very similar to the one fielded against Bologna, per Sky Italia (via MilanNews). There will be just one change as Soualiho Meite will replace Sandro Tonali in the midfield tandem.
In the attacking trio, Rafael Leao will be the trequartista once again, also because Brahim Diaz is out with an injury. This means Alexis Saelemaekers and Ante Rebic will be on the flanks, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic up front.
Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Tomori, Romagnoli, Theo; Meite, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Leao, Rebic; Ibrahimovic.
