There will be no rest for Zlatan Ibrahimovic on Thursday night as the striker is set to start against Sparta Praha in the Europa League, it is claimed.

A lot of the media speculation leading up to the game has been about the rotation that Pioli could deploy, something he seemed to strongly hint at in his pre-match press conference, as his side looked tired at times in Monday night’s 3-3 draw against Roma.

However, it appears that the 39-year-old Ibrahimovic will once again start against Sparta, as Peppe Di Stefano of Sky (via MilanNews) reports how the Swede will get the nod to play up front and hopefully continue his impressive recent goalscoring run.

For the rest, however, a substantial rotation is expected by Pioli, with Diogo Dalot in place of Theo Hernandez, Sandro Tonali for Franck Kessie and the trio behind Ibrahimovic being Samu Castillejo, Rade Krunic and Brahim Diaz.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Calabria, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Dalot; Tonali, Bennacer; Castillejo, Krunic, Brahim; Ibrahimovic.
