Despite all the speculation in recent days suggesting that AC Milan will struggle to sign their top three targets, they have absolutely not given up.

Milan need to make signings for the defence, midfield and attack ahead of a crucial 2022-23 season in which they will look to defend their Scudetto and also go further in the Champions League having finished bottom of the group last time.

Speaking on Calciomercato L’Originale for Sky (via MilanNews), Gianluca Di Marzio gave a brief update on Milan in his final segment of the show and in particular the three players that have been most strongly linked.

He claims that the Rossoneri ‘have not given up’ on Sven Botman and Renato Sanches (both of Lille) and Charles De Ketelaere of Club Brugge.

Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara want to keep these negotiations alive while waiting to accelerate their pursuit, as per the journalist.
