AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma wishes to stay at the club and sign a new deal, Gianluca Di Marzio reports, but conditions must be met.
Donnarumma’s current deal expires in 2021 which means Milan face a crossroads: they must either agree a renewal before next season or consider selling the 21-year-old to avoid the risk of losing him on a free next year.
We reported via our correspondent Vito Angele that if before it seemed impossible, now the road has opened up regarding a renewal for the 21-year-old.
Di Marzio spoke at Sky Italia about Donnarumma’s situation (via MilanNews) and Milan will have to do everything to try to renew his contract in the near future.
Gigio has a red and black heart, the journalist confirms, and if it were up to him he would stay. However, there must be conditions and prerequisites for this to happen, not only economic but also linked to the technical project.
In the next few weeks Gigio – through his agent Mino Raiola – will have contacts with Milan to discuss what the future holds.
Calciomercato.com recently reported that Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea are the main two sides interested in the Italy international.
