Sky: Fiorentina pounce on Mangala as Everton fail to finalise deal | OneFootball

Sky Sport Italia reports that Fiorentina will make an attempt to sign Orel Mangala from Lyon as Everton haven’t yet finalised a deal for the 26-year-old.

Fiorentina have joined the race for Lyon midfielder Mangala, a former Nottingham Forest midfielder who is already in advanced talks with Everton.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Fiorentina will try to sign the Belgium international, given that Everton haven’t reached a full agreement for his purchase from Lyon.

Fiorentina have just welcomed Yacine Adli on loan with an option to buy from Milan, but the Tuscans are looking for a new central midfielder given that Sofyan Amrabat is likely to leave the Stadio Franchi.

The Morocco international has attracted interest from José Mourinho’s Fenerbahce and La Liga giants Atletico Madrid.

According to Sky Sport Italia, besides Mangala, Fiorentina remain in talks for Martin Baturina, a 21-year-ol central midfielder under contract with Dinamo Zagreb.
