Roma’s search for a new CEO continues as Sky Executive Vice President Marzio Perrelli seems to be in the lead for the position.
In fact, as reported by La Stampa, Perrelli has already met with president Dan Friedkin on two occasions in London, a sign of a concrete and advanced interest from the American ownership.
There are two others candidates in the running, writes the newspaper.
Alessandro Antonello, current CEO of Inter, and Giovanni Carnevali, who holds the same role at Sassuolo, remain more distant in their preferences.
The choice of CEO represents a strategic decision for the Friedkins, who intend to consolidate Roma not only on the pitch, but also from an organizational and management point of view before the end of the year.
