ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

We can understand why Liverpool reportedly hold an interest in Chiesa. He is a solid young player.

Chiesa is about to start the second season of his two-year loan deal with Juventus. Juventus are obligated to purchase the forward from Fiorentina next summer.

Chiesa was very good for Italy during the 2020 Euros. The 23-year-old found the back of the net twice for his country. Chiesa also averaged a WhoScored player rating of 6.87 across the 2020 Euros.

It has been reported that the pandemic has impacted Liverpool from a financial point of view.

Therefore, if Juventus do want €90 million for Chiesa, we are not shocked to hear that the Reds won’t be making a move for the forward anytime soon.
