AC Milan are understood to be targeting a deadline day move to Chelsea forward Joao Felix, and he is apparently already in Italy.

Milan have been linked with a move for Felix throughout the January window as a possible option to come in and bolster the attack. However, with the hours ticking by and nothing done, it looked like it would not come to fruition.

According to what is being reported by Sky Sports in the UK though, the Rossoneri are in talks over a deal on deadline day. Not only that, but the Portugal international is said to be in Italy and was watching the Milan derby yesterday at the San Siro.

Meanwhile, Matt Law of the Daily Telegraph confirms that Felix could be sold today. Milan are ‘paving the way for a loan’, but Chelsea have received offers from three Champions League clubs.

Aston Villa and Tottenham have also expressed interest, but Chelsea would prefer not to sell him to another club in the Premier League, which could give the Rossoneri an advantage.

Finally, Loic Tanzi of L’Equipe stated that Milan are ‘trying to pull off the Joao Felix coup’ in this the final day of the winter mercato. The Italians are discussing with Chelsea.
