Six Bayern players have been named in Germany’s preliminary 27-man squad for Euro 2024 in Germany this summer in Manuel Neuer, Joshua Kimmich, Aleksandar Pavlovic, Jamal Musiala, Leroy Sane and Thomas Müller.

Opening game in Munich on 14 June

Julian Nagelsmann’s team have two warm-up matches before they kick off the tournament against Scotland in Munich on 14 June. Neuer & Co. will face Ukraine in Nuremberg on 3 June before hosting Greece in Mönchengladbach three days later. The squad will be reduced to between 23 and 26 players by 7 June.

France and Netherlands announce squads

Bayern duo Dayot Upamecano and Kingsley Coman have been named in France’s final 25-man squad by Didier Deschamps. Munich defender Matthijs de Ligt has been included in the 30-player provisional squad by Netherlands boss Ronald Koeman, which will be reduced by four by 29 May.
