Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi is being closely watched by the club, although they still would only consider changing coaches to be an absolute last resort.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that the reluctance remains within the Nerazzurri to sack Inzaghi even though they are being forced to look at him increasingly critically.

Inzaghi has now steered Inter to two successive defeats in Serie A, against Udinese and Roma, and it is not exactly clear where a turnaround would come from.

The club are aware now more than ever that things cannot go on like this, and they would consider parting ways with the 46-year-old if they feel that there is no other option.

However, this remains a last resort rather than something that the Nerazzurri would want to be too hasty about.

As long as there is a feeling that Inzaghi has what he needs to turn things around, the club will stick by him, although if they feel that they are out of options they won’t hesitate.
