Inter boss Simone Inzaghi may give Stefan de Vrij a rest against Atalanta but save any major rotations for the cup match against Empoli next week, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, Simone Inzaghi is only likely to make minor alterations to the squad that faced Juventus on Wednesday night for the match in Bergamo on Sunday night.

The conditions of the players who played the full 120 minutes in the Supercoppa Italiana final will be evaluated and the player who is reportedly the most tired is Stefan de Vrij.

Andrea Ranocchia may be called upon to replace him against Atalanta, but there is also a chance for Danilo D’Ambrosio or Federico Dimarco to be brought into the backline.
