Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will be counting on the renewed form of the returning Marcelo Brozovic and Romelu Lukaku in his team’s bid to come back in the Serie A title race.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who note the boost that the duo being back could give the Nerazzurri over the second part of the Serie A season.

Brozovic only came back for a few substitute appearances for Inter after suffering a thigh injury in the September international break, whilst Lukaku barely featured at all over the season so far.

Brozovic now looks both fit and in form for Croatia, however, whilst Lukaku will have a month to build up his fitness and match-sharpness.

Both players are key for the Nerazzurri, and the fact that Inzaghi could only count on them sporadically, or not at all, over the first part of the campaign may well have contributed to the team’s erratic form at times.

With both of the duo back, Inzaghi could feel that he finally has a real Scudetto-winning squad at his disposal.
